| Make-up artistes and audio technicians refuse to restart work |
|
Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE)-affiliated make-up artistes and audio technicians declined to restart work on Thursday, complaining that the revised rates offered to them by the producers were not at all satisfactory.
On Wednesday, there was an ecstasy over the `understanding` between television producers and workers and the promise of fresh episodes of serials from next Monday. But, it has been spoiled as some of the workers refused to accept the revised rates.

Bhojpuri actor Ravi Kissen, who was one of the finalists of reality show "Bigg Boss" in its first season, is going to enter the "Bigg Boss 2" house today, to share the final moments with the existing housemates.

Television workers have called off the fortnight-long strike on Wednesday as they agreed to compromise with TV producers over better pay and working conditions.
The striking employees are supposed to start work from today thus opening the way for the shooting of fresh episodes of TV serials. The regular viewers will get relief as they are favourite programmes will be telecast again with fresh episodes.
