Citrix Systems, Inc. the global leader in application delivery infrastructure has appointed Redington India Ltd as its national value added distributor from May 2009.
Redington is a provider of IT products and leading integrated Supply Chain Solution provider and represents more than 40 leading global brands. Redington will distribute all products in the Citrix portfolio across the country under this agreement.
The association with Citrix will increase their market share in India. The company believes that there is huge market potential for virtualisation across sectors in the country.
Citrix aims to add 100 new partners by the end of 2009. Redington will help Citrix reach out to newer markets across Tier 2 cities and grow their current partner base of Citrix Solutions Advisors (CSAs) for the virtualization and application delivery products. Together, they will engage in several go-to-market activities, educate the partners and make them aware of the training and support initiatives from Citrix.
