More than 700 sportspersons from across the country have arrived to honour the 9th National Shitoryu Karate championship to be held in Bangalore from June 12, All India Shitroryu Karate Association President C A Arun Machaiah said.
Addressing a press conference here, he said that the events would be held in men, women, boys and girls category besides Team events.
The championship would be a selection trial for selection of National Karate Team to represent the country at the 6th Shtoryu Karate World Championship scheduled to be held at Beijing from August 18 to 25.
