Radio Mirchi recently turned six and the occasion was marked with grand celebrations that lasted till Diwali. To make the celebrations special for the listeners, Radio Mirchi showered prizes worth lakhs to some lucky winners making their Diwali a 'Lakhwali Diwali.'
Radio Mirchi introduced an innovative concept, 'Mirchi Khel Laakhon Ka', which brought delightful gifts to its listeners both on-air and on-ground every hour in the week preceding Diwali.
The listeners were asked witty questions on-air and the most innovative answers not only won various prizes but also a chance to win a grand prize of `1 lakh. 'Mirchi Khel Laakhon Ka' also reached out to the listeners on-ground every evening where bumper prizes for that particular day were given by Radio Mirchi RJs at pre-decided locations. Lakhs of listeners participated and hundreds of them won prizes from Radio Mirchi and their valued sponsors. The listeners could also connect through Whatsapp, an idea no other radio station has tried yet.
The grand finale of the event was held at AlphaOne Mall and received an overwhelming response from the participants and other listeners. The winner walked away with a prize of 1 lakh after playing Mirchi Style Bollywood Quiz with RJ Ekta.
