The who's who of the theatre industry came to celebrate the Prithvi Theatre Festival presented by Bombay Times. While the inaugural party at the theatre was graced by eminent celebs from the theatre, TV and film fraternity, all eyes were on Ranbir Kapoor, who surprised everyone with his entry along with parents Rishi and Neetu Kapoor.
The Bollywood heartthrob just didn't spend time with granduncle Shashi Kapoor, who made a rare public appearance, but was at his warmest best as he mingled with the guests. Meanwhile, Rishi and Neetu enjoyed dinner, drinks and conversations with friends and family members, including Ramesh Sippy, Kiran Joneja and Randhir Kapoor at the famous Prithvi cafe in the premises.
The three generations of the Kapoors apart, the highlight of the evening was the superlative performances by veterans Satish Kaushik and Seema Biswas, who opened the festival with Feroz Abbas Khan's touching play, Salesman Ramlal. Kunal Kapoor, the host of this grand party, along with daughter Shaira, made sure each guest was well-taken care of.
Among others, Dolly Thakore, Sunil Shanbag, Rohan Sippy, Akbar Khan, Hidayat Sami, Akash Khurana, Makrand Deshpande, Rakesh Bedi, Lubna Salim, Mohan Kapoor and Vrajesh Hirjee were spotted having a good time during the after-party.
Govind Nihalani and Nadira Babbar, who came along with daughter Juhi and son-in-law Anup Soni, inaugurated the festival. Bollywood's latest entrant Nimrat Kaur was seen engrossed in a serious conversation with Rohan Sippy.
