 New Delhi: The human resource development ministry announced it was preparing a citizen's charter to bring more transparency in its functioning.
Under the charter, 25 working days has been fixed for releasing funds for any programme. Similarly, for copyright, a time frame of 15 days has been fixed and beyond 25 days, it will get a 'poor rating'.
Grievance redressal will also be included in the charter, for which officials have been recruited.
The charter will provide greater opportunities of access to higher education with equity to all the eligible persons and in particular to the vulnerable sections.
