 West Bengal has become profitable for the IT industry at the present day. Wipro will invest Rs 8 billion in its second campus and will offer around 15,000 tech jobs in the state, while Infosys has plans to invest Rs 10 billions that will create 20,000 tech jobs. Infosys is already working on their maiden sofware campus in Kolkata and Wipro is looking for expansion.
The two IT majors will invest up to Rs 20 billion in their IT and BPO projects and will create 35,000 tech jobs over a period of three years.
