 Star Jalsha, has launched a new show 'Bodhu Kon Alo Laglo Chokhe' that showcases the life journey of true love between two individuals and replaces the show Bou Kotha Kou at the 7 pm on the channel.
Based on the lines of beauty and the beast, the lead pair of Bodhu Kon Alo Laglo Chokhe - 'Alo' and 'Angshuman' are all set to enter and become yet another most talked about couple like Mouri and Nikhil of Bou Kotha Kou who had been grabbing eyeballs and viewers' attention all this while with their heart touching performance. It is a story where Alo and Angshuman exude the strength of character and present a heart-warming tale.
The story is an unconventional one that attempts to break free from the stereo type love stories and projects love between two souls, where the outer physical appearance is of no value compared to inner beauty. Alo a steadfast, loving and an extremely good looking girl is born in a slum whose own beauty by default becomes a great curse for her. This forces her over protective father and brothers to keep her confined indoors most of the time.
Angshuman Lahiri who hails from a rich affluent Bengali family is a dark complexioned man considers himself to be ugly and so is ashamed to mingle and come out publicly. By the twist of fate and turn of events in the process to save Alo's life from the hands of a local goon, Angshuman has to marry Alo. This protective act by Angshuman leads in developing a soft corner and respect in Alo's heart for him.
