 Barely five months since its launch in August, 2011, Imagine TV's Dharampatni which was under the scanner for quite some time owing to its low ratings, is apparently all set to bid adieu to its viewers.
The show featuring popular actors like Harshad Chopra of Kis Desh Mein Hai Meraa Dil fame and Aasiya Kazi of Bandini fame as the lead couple was expected to become one of the most popular shows of the channel, which obviously didn't happen. The channel had pinned its hopes on Dharampatni which had replaced Looteri Dulhan in August, 2011.
They wanted to cash in on the popularity of Harshad Chopra but nothing helped the show to climb up the rating chart. And now we hear that the show is all set to conclude on February 2. We sent a text message to Harshad Chopra but he didn't revert.
