 The Global Food Banking Network (GFN), in a press release, has announced that Anil Prakash, 41 has joined the India Food Banking Network (IFBN). His initial focus is to establish the Delhi NCR Food Bank as its general manager and then expand the operations of IFBN nationally. Prakash is leading the development and expansion of Delhi's food bank which will provide nutritious food and grocery products, grains, and pulses for distribution through beneficiary organisations in the Delhi NCR area in early 2012.
"Anil Prakash brings not only an impressive professional background to IFBN, he also has a genuine passion for people in need. Anil's service-driven approach will go a long way to making India's first food bank successful," said Craig A Nemitz, director, field services, GFN.
