Itanagar: Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Jarbom Gamlin resigned on Friday following the leadership crisis in the state. Gamlin sent his resignation letter to the All India Congress Committee (AICC).
This came after Gamlin was told by the high-command to resign to resolve the leadership crisis in Arunachal Pradesh.

The leadership crisis in the state emerged when Gamlin was accused of getting a senior state Cabinet Minister, Chowma Mein, abducted. The minister was allegedly abducted for a few hours in state capital Itanagar at gunpoint.
