Spanish designer Ana Locking and Indian designer duo Shane and Falguni Peacock showed off their collection in Kolkata
The Signature Premier World of 8 International Fashion Tour was in Kolkata on Sunday to showcase the best and the most creative elements of international fashion capital Madrid. Thus the Spanish ambience, flamboyant cuts and designs that spoke volumes of the Latin influence dominated the runway at the ITC Sonar, Kolkata, the venue for the fashion show.
International designer Ana Locking from Madrid showcased her collection that was called Stance. Structure and elegance was her theme and this was brought about nicely by her intense contrasts in colour combination, de-structuring of patterns and combining antagonistic elements like length with extreme shortness, the melange of smooth and the pleated, then light and the dark and the sober and the excessive.
