 Allahabad: A team of the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) will visit Jagat Taran Girls' Degree College on September 12 and 13 to review if the NAAC status can be renewed for the college.
NAAC is an autonomous entity under the University Grants Commission which rates universities on various parameters including infrastructure, teacher taught ratio, student's amenities, etc., and gives a specific rating to the institutions.
Principal, Jagat Taran Girls' Degree College, Kamla Devi said the college got NAAC's B+ grade in 2005. The NAAC team comprising academic experts will assess the institution on quality parameters of higher education.
