 Thiruvananthapuram: Businessman-cum-film-producer Gokulam Gopalan, who shot to fame after making 'Pazhassi Raja', has finalised Kamal Haasan for his next, which is again a historical about Tipu Sultan and Unniarcha.
Veteran writer John Paul is doing the paperwork and the film will be directed by Vayalar Madhavan Kutty.
Unniarcha is a female warrior mentioned in 'Vadakkan Pattukal', the old ballads of North Malabar. She and Tipu Sultan were contemporaries and had conflicting views.
