Ghaziabad: The district administration has closed 34 brick kilns in Loni area near Ghaziabad, U.P. for causing environmental pollution, an official said today.
The decision of the shut down was decided by the administration because the brick kiln owners did not follow the standards and norms set up by the pollution control board.
Legal notices have been sent to the owners of these brick kilns asking them not to start operations without getting permission from the PCB.
