Hyderabad: Pusarla Venkata Sindhu bagged her second international title beating top seed and World No. 35 Fransiska Ratnasari Harasiputra 21-16, 21-11 in the final of the Indonesian International Challenge badminton championship on Sunday.
The 16-year-old Sindhu from Hyderabad recently won the Maldives Open and also later entered the semifinals of the Junior Asia championship in Lucknow.
"I am feeling great and really thrilled with this win. I feel more confident now," is how the young champion shuttler said when she called up her parents P.V. Ramana, himself a former international volleyballer, and Vijaya, also a volleyballer.
