Jaipur: Tourists will now have a new destination in the Pink City.
The state forest department will shortly be inaugurating a new jungle safari at the sprawling Nahargarh Biological Park on the Jaipur-Delhi highway.
Slated for inauguration in August, the safari would include a hired Gypsy (vehicle) and a guide for a tour of the 720 hectare forested land along cemented pathways with promises of sighting panthers, birds, an innumerable variety of flora and fauna, some heritage property dating back ages and a picturesque landscape.
While tenders for the hiring of Gypsies from a private party will be opened in a week's time, Gupta expects that the recruiting and training of guides would take a bit more time. There has been a great response from guides and we have got about 700 applications in just two days.
