Vadodara: A book printed by city police in public-private participation was launched by Modi in the presence of BJP leaders and top cops at a function held yesterday in Vadodara.
Under the project undertaken by the cops, the books that talk about following traffic rules in animated form will be distributed among schoolchildren.
However M S University's adult education department will train teachers of 247 schools and they in turn will educate students in traffic safety. "Public-private partnership has been a tradition in this city and efforts made by people involved in this project deserve appreciation. It takes lot of efforts and cost to produce a doctor who saves lives of accident victims. But by following traffic rules, you can save many more lives at a much lesser cost," Modi said.
