 Koraput: Two gram nyayalayas will start functioning in Koraput and Rayagada districts on Friday. These will be in Koraput's Semiliguda and Rayagada's Kolnara.
"The district judge of Koraput will inaugurate the gram nyayalaya at Semiliguda. By the end of this month, infrastructure would be ready at Kolnara and the gram nyayalaya will be shifted from Rayagada," registrar of courts Ajit Kumar Singh said.
Apart from Semiliguda and Kolnara, the state government as per a May 14, 2010 Gazette notification plans to open gram nyayalaya's at Rajnagar in Kendrapara district, Ghashipur in Keonjhar, Lakhanpur in Jharsuguda and Rajnagar in Cuttack. The gram nyayalaya at Sanakhemundi in Ganjam was inaugurated on July 9.
