Ahmedabad: A former Congress MLA from Halol, Udesinh Baria, on Wednesday joined the BJP.
Soon after joining the party, he addressed a press conference along with the BJP's state president, R C Faldu, and its national vice-president, Purshottam Rupala.
Baria effusively praised chief minister Narendra Modi and said that after Sardar Patel, Modi was the only leader who had been recognized even outside the country.
