 Strawberi Holidays, a division of Kesari Tours Pvt. Ltd is planning to start theme-based holiday packages for 2009 like family holidays, beach vacations, etc.
It brings variety to the existing bunch of tailored packages with this new offer. It will focus on cruises and also introduce Scandinavian and South American (Brazil) destinations for the FIT segment in India. Strawberi Holidays is promoting Finland (home of Santa Claus), Italy, France and Switzerland for the upcoming Christmas and New Year season as more and more Indians are getting used to spending winter vacations in international countries.
Sunila Patil, Director, Strawberi Holidays said, "Despite the economic crisis, in the current year, New Zealand Tourism has shown a marked progress in comparison to other countries. The holiday packages for New Zealand focussed more on the traveller-experience rather than just selling the destination. These experiences included farm stays with the host and luxury lodges, especially for the honeymooners. Indian domestic tourism figures have increased as most Indian preferred Indian destinations for holidays because of the current economic slowdown. People are opting for short haul destinations like Thailand, Singapore and Malaysia. Long-haul destinations like New Zealand, Europe and Australia, despite their popularity are experiencing low business from the Indian market."
Kesari Tours Pvt. Ltd. has published a new brochure for `My Fair Lady` tours for the next three years. The next destination `My Fair Lady` tours will cover in January 2009 is Dubai, which will be visited during the famous Dubai Shopping Festival. Kesari has booked an entire flight for this tour in order to enable maximum women travellers to grab this opportunity.
