Airtel and RIM introduces new BlackBerry Pearl Flip phone in India
 
Airtel and RIM introduces new BlackBerry Pearl Flip phone in IndiaAirtel and Research in Motion (RIM) has launched the BlackBerry Pearl Flip 8220 smartphone in India.

The new BlackBerry Pearl Flip smartphone has the power of the BlackBerry platform. This flip phone is available nationally at a price of Rs 21990 at Airtel authorised channels.

The BlackBerry Pearl Flip 8220 phone comes with spacious keyboard that allows easy typing and dialing. The flip design opens to a large, vibrant internal display and provides the satisfying finality of ending a call by closing the phone.

The external display of the smartphone comes with calendar reminders, email, text messages and phone calls at a glance.

The smartphone is a combination of RIM`s powerful mobile email solution and rich multimedia capabilities with support for text messaging, picture messaging, enhanced Web browsing and built-in Wi-Fi.

The pictures can be shared easily. The latest sports scores and post on social networking sites, including Facebook, YouTube, and MySpace can also be checked.

The BlackBerry Pearl Flip smartphone provides an advanced multimedia experience including a 2 megapixel camera with digital zoom, flash and video recording, stereo Bluetooth support, and an easily accessible expandable memory card slot for up to 16GB of additional storage per card.
