Three city schools receive British Council ISA recognition

Rajkot: Three city schools have been accredited with British Council International School Award (ISA) for 2011-14.

These schools are Shree Kadvibai Virani Kanya Vidhyalay, Shri Lalbahadur Shashtri Vidhyalay and Murlidhar High School.

"The ISA supports schools to develop an international ethos embedded throughout the school, a majority of students within the school impacted by and involved in international framework, collaborative curriculum-based work with a number of partner schools and year-round international activities,'' said Sonal Shah, principal, Kadvibai Virani Kanya Vidyalay. Kadvibai, a girls' school, was established in 1946 by Indian freedom fighters and followers of Mahatma Gandhi.
