Ahmedabad: Gujarat government has banned the collection of school development fees as well as capitation fees.
Gujarat Education Minister Raman Vora issued a set of model guidelines to be implemented by the schools.
He has warned action against the schools, which violate these guidelines under the Gujarat State Secondary Education Rules -1972.
The guidelines say the school development fees and capitation fees cannot be charged from students.
