Srinagar: As many as 25 Sikhs have been elected as panches and sarpanches in the ongoing Panchayat elections in Kashmir.

Besides the Sikhs, a couple of Kashmiri pandits have been elected as panches and sarpanches in the Muslim-majority Valley.
