Thiruvananthapuram: Oracle India has commenced its operations from the State at Technopark from Thursday.
However the company has leased 40,000 sq ft of space at the Leela Infopark in the Technopark campus but began functioning temporarily from an office space at the Park Centre till such time the former gets ready for occupation.
The IT major has a potential to generate huge employment opportunities depending on the level of operations which in turn will depend on the availability of quality manpower.
