Shimla: The Himachal Pradesh government has sanctioned Rs.20 crore to improve infrastructure in an industrial belt in Solan district.
Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal has sanctioned a special grant of Rs.20 crore for improvement and maintenance of roads in the Baddi-Barotiwala-Nalagarh industrial area.
According to the minister the funds would be spent by the Baddi Barotiwala Nalagarh Development Authority (BBNDA), created to carry out focused development in industrial areas.
To attract more investment, the state has developed a new estate in Davni village under the industrial area.
On the other hand the government has also acquired land to set up information technology, electronics, textile, food and other units.
