Jaipur: In order to provide better bus facilities in the state the Minster for Transport Brij Kishore Sharma on Thursday announced plans to link all district headquarters with sophisticated and comfortable Volvo buses.
However while inaugurating the Roadways Tourist Reception Centre of Rajasthan State Road Transport Corporation (RSRTC) at Bikaner House, New Delhi; he said every village panchayat will be linked by RSRTC services. He said that the Roadways will soon add 1,000 new buses to its fleet.
The chairman and managing director of RSRTC, Manjit Singh, told the gathering this new reception centre will have facilities like booking counters, air-conditioned waiting rooms for tourists, cloak rooms, LCD TV, Trolly for luggage, parking facilities, e-tickets, and separate restrooms for men and women, water coolers and sheds for the tourists.
