Agartala: Pranay Sahaya, a special director general in the Border Security Force (BSF) has been appointed secretary (security) in the cabinet secretariat in New Delhi.
He will succeed B.K Dey, who retired recently.
Sahaya, a 1975 batch Tripura-Manipur cadre Indian Police Service (IPS) officer, is currently the special director general (east) of the Border Security Force (BSF) posted in Kolkata. He was previously Tripura's police chief.
