 Patna: The IRCTC recently signed MoU with the Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd (HPCL) to set up stalls of eateries at each HPCL outlet located in Bihar.
The IRCTC would set up such eateries at HPCL stations on the pattern of food plaza. The main idea behind it is to provide quality snacks and light refreshments to the people visiting these outlets. Besides, the proposed new venture would yield revenue to the IRCTC.
However the IRCTC and the HPCL have decided in principle to set up such eatery stalls on the highways, particularly those located on Gaya-Sasaram, Patna-Rajgir, Patna-Motihari, where the HPCL outlets are located in and around Bihar.
