Bhubaneswar: Orissa-based sand artist Sudarsan Pattnaik's sculpture of Mona Lisa, won the people's choice prize at the 3rd Moscow World Sand Sculpture Championship in Russia.
Pattnaik was the only Indian to participate in the competition held May 4-11. The theme was masterpieces of Italian art.
Pattnaik has participated in more than 37 international sand sculpture championships across the globe and has won many awards.
