Shimla: Professor A D N Bajpai from Rani Durgavati University, Jabalpur was appointed the new vice-chancellor of Himachal Pradesh University on Friday.
Bajpai has been appointed for a period of three years from the date he joins office or till the date he attains 65 years, whichever is earlier.
On the other hand the governor and chancellor of Dr Y S Parmar University of Horticulture and Forestry, Nauni, Solan, also reappointed K R Dhiman as vice-chancellor of the university for another term of three years.
