Jamshedpur: Sambalpuri Chhau will be the main attraction of the annual two-day Chhau Mahotsav to be held at the Arjuna Stadium in the Kharswan block of Seraikela-Kharsawan district beginning today.
The organizers, the Seraikela district administration and the Lok Kala Sangam, have invited the traditional dancers from Orissa to showcase their art form at the fest. Nagpuri, Jhumar, Rijha, Dassaye, Maghe and Thirkal will be the other forms of Chhau on show at the festival.
About 150 artistes will enthrall the audience with their performance and help promote the dance form in the districts.
