Kanpur: Chanting of `mantras' and `bhajans' on the occasion of Navratra marked the beginning of `Mata Ki Chowki' at the Kalikan temple in Fatehpur district on Sunday.
The `Mata Ki Chowki' was organised by `The Times of India' in association with Panem Steels, JK Cement and State Bank of India. The bhajan singer impressed the audience by singing `Bhakti' songs, seeking blessing of Goddess Durga and welcoming the visitors.
The religious programme was organised with a message that during Navratra, when Goddess Durga fought the demons, and mark the purification of an individual's mind.
