Ranchi: To commemorate the 150th birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda, Vivek Express, a special train launched by Indian Railways, reached Ranchi junction on Monday.
The special train will remain stationed in Ranchi till April 6. Five air-conditioned bogies of the train are decorated with rare photographs of Swami Vivekananda and his sermons, thoughts and philosophies. Earlier also special trains dedicated on Rabindranath Tagore and Mother Teresa visited Ranchi, creating a tremendous response among the people.
Books and other literatures are also being distributed in the train to the visitors and since the morning after the opening of the train for the visitors, people queued up to have a look at the train. In the first two hours, 50 visitors thronged the train.
