Jaipur: On the occasion of Rajasthan Diwas, Times Music is bringing to the city a melange of artistes to the launch of music album "Padharo Mhare Desh" by Manisha A Agrawal.
A unique musical collection inspired from the folk music of Rajasthan, Mozarts of the soulful symphony artistes featuring in the CD would be performing live at 5 in the evening at B M Birla Auditorium.
Among the host of artists will be prominent ghazal singer Jagjeet Singh, Indian slide guitar player Pt. Vishwamohan Bhatt, Ustad Sultan Khan, a sarangi player and singer, Ustad Ahmed Hussain, Roop Kumar Rathore, Ustad Mohammed Husain, Ravi Pawar, Salil Bhatt, Gulabo and Ghazi Khan.
The idea to host celebrated artistes in the city on a day when everything stands still for cricket has put the citizens in two minds. While most want to be glued to the televisions throughout the day, the organisers who had planned to host the show on the 28th were awaiting the chief minister's confirmation.
