Palwal: The Haryana government has allocated Rs 40 crore for rural development in Palwal district.
This was announced by Haryana chief minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda at a rally held on Saturday.
However a share of the funds will be used for the construction of a railway overbridge at Alawalpur. The CM said that he would recommend the Centre to set up a district institute of education and training (DIET) on 10 acres of land in the area.
