Power supply to be cut off in south Delhi areas
 

New Delhi : The electricity supply in some areas of south Delhi would be disrupted on September 8 and 9 owning to a grid construction work, power Distribution Company BSES Rajdhani Power Limited said on Sep 8.

"Delhi Transco Limited is currently engaged in constructing a 220 KV grid sub-station at Ridge Valley, Dhaula Kuan. As a consequence, BSES Rajdhani Power Limited (BRPL) is shifting the 11 KV distribution network in the area," the power company said in a release.

"To shift the cables to the location of the grid sub-station, the company will have to take planned shut-downs in the area. Consequently, the supply will be affected in Moti Bagh, parts of Anand Niketan, Nanak Pura and Satya Niketan on September 8 and 9 between 11 am and 6 pm," it added.
