Modern Indian masters go under auction
 

New Delhi : It's auction time again for the online auction house Saffronart, which has included some new artists in its upcoming autumn sale.

Works of the all favourite's modern masters S H Raza, Jehangir Sabavala and Jogen Chowdury will be on offer alongwith select contemporary artists such as Subodh Gupta, N S Harsha, Jitish Kallat and G Ravinder Reddy for online bidding for two days beginning September 8.

The collection comprises 90 works by 43 modern and contemporary Indian artists with a total low estimate of Rs 29.5 crores (USD 6.5 million) and high estimate of Rs 39 crores (USD 8.7 million).

"The sale is priced in such a way that it has something to offer for everybody, for established art collectors as well as for somebody who is just beginning to start their collection, says Dinesh Vazirani, CEO and Co-founder of Saffronart.
