Mumbai : The Bombay High Court on Sep 1 set aside the Maharashtra government's decision to set up a committee for approving fees of private unaided schools.
In July this year, the state had issued a Government Resolution (GR) which said a committee headed by divisional deputy director of education will scrutinise the fees structure of private unaided schools.
The Forum of Unaided Schools had challenged the GR and the court in its ruling set it aside.
