New Delhi : US-based Ford Motor Co's India unit will begin exporting its compact Figo to 50 new markets from India starting next year, Joe Hinrichs, President, Asia Pacific and Africa said on Aug 26.
A company statement said that it would be export Figo to North African countries and the United Arab Emirates. Ford launched its compact Figo car in India earlier in 2010 and it has become a best-seller for the company. Its sales in the period January to July stood at 46,751 units, with bulk of the sales coming from the Figo.
