The Textiles Chemicals Business of Clariant Chemicals (India) Limited participated in Texcellence 2010, organized by the Textile Review magazine, in July 2010 in Ahmedabad.
Mr. Navneet Krishnan, Manager - Key Account Management and Apparel & Interiors was invited to speak on "Innovation in Dyeing and Finishing", wherein he elucidated on the new dyestuff application processes developed by Clariant, like - SWIFT, Pad-moist and Pad-ox. The benefits to the users of these processes includes optimization of process for better productivity, new application technologies, saving in cost of utilities like water, power and steam by minimizing of the processing stages.
He further discussed on the importance of functional finishes like Enhanced Textile Strength Improvement, Moist Cross Linking and other functional finishes like moisture management, easy wear, wash and wear, Hy-dry and covered the entire finishing gamut. The importance for a suitable colour management system and how the Archroma colour standards benefits the customers were also emphasized upon.
Clariant is present across the textile processing value chain; right from sizing, pre-treatment, dyeing, printing and finishing. Our customers can derive manifold benefits like novel functional finishes, right first time dyeing, new application processes for energy saving by aligning with Clariant. The programme was attended by the industry, entrepreneurs, industry executives and students.
