Apeda to represent India's f&b at SAIL 2010
 

Mumbai : Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority (Apeda), government's official wing to promote and develop food exports, has decided to participate in SAIL 2010.

SAIL 2010 is the public trade fair focusing on food & beverage, home cooking and the domestic kitchen industry. The event will take place on October 17-21, 2010, at Parc des Expositions in Paris, France.

The exhibition ranges from raw products to ready-made food and drinks, kitchen equipment, literature and food exporting information. "Considering the importance of the show, Apeda is participating in this event in a big way," Apeda said in its statement.

Further, the authority has also invited various f&b players to participate in the event via Apeda. "Few constructed and fully furnished, ready to move-in stall of 9 sq metres at a subsidised rate of Rs150, 000 are available. Interested individual/institution can contact SS Nayyar, DGM on 09811299352 or UK Vats, DGM on 09811204812," it added.

This year, organisers have also planned to highlight proactive nutrition approaches and aim to gather all the nutritional professionals from across the globe.
