Samsung seems to be on a roll these days with its Android phones. Soon after releasing its Galaxy S, Beam and the mid-range Galaxy 3 and 5, the company has announced its new Android-based device the Galaxy U (SHW-M130L).
The phone is basically a slightly modded Galaxy S for the Korea. The AMOLED screen on the Galaxy U has the same resolution as the Galaxy S - 480 x 800 pixels with support for 16M colors. Other features include a 5 megapixel camera with auto focus and support for 720p HD video recording.
The phone is available exclusively on the J-CDMA, CDMA Rev. A networks. It supports Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n and Bluetooth 3.0, along with a 3.5mm headphone jack. It also supports DMB-TV broadcasts.
The Galaxy U can accept microSD cards of up to 32GB. An 8GB card is included in the package. The rest of the features are similar to that of the Galaxy S.
