Honda Siel Cars India has launched a new variant of its premium hatchback, the Jazz. Named the Jazz X, the new variant brings in some much needed features into the car, which were lacking in the original product despite its premium pricing.
While the list of minor changes is long, the move that will interest prospective buyers the most is the inclusion of alloy wheels, which customers had found sorely missing when the car was launched. On the inside the Jazz X has been given new blue-black interiors, and a much needed USB port for the stereo system. The driver's seat is now adjustable for height, and Honda's penchant for cubby holes with the Jazz continues with a new rear parcel shelf.
While the Honda Jazz had reporters impressed on it's launch with its smart use of space and characteristic Honda refinement; the market seemed to have had problems with its premium pricing. The new Jazz X will retail for a price of Rs 7.53 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi), and with its new bunch of features Honda seems to have added that bit of value-for-money into the Jazz.
