The LG GW300 has been provided with wider 2.4inch display, which offers good resolution of 320 x 240 pixels and supports 256K colours. Display may not be big comparing with other rival phones, but delivers fine quality pictures. The display adjust itself to landscape and portrait orientation. The best part is that it has good sunlight legibility. The LG GW300 is available in many bold colours like pink, black, orange and blue. It measure 115.5 x 61 x 12.8 mm, slim, it can comfortably fit almost every packet. This phone is coated with plastic, so it weighs 95gram, feels very light at hand.

The weight and size gives the perfect form factor. The phone appeals to be pretty attractive, solid and gives sturdy feeling in hand. It comes with a nicely designed full QWERTY keyboard. The ergonomics and design of the phone are truly appreciable. Though keys appear to be small, but they are manageable. There are 6 buttons around the D-pad, may look bit clumsy, but they give youthful look. The keys are extra thumb able, so offering easier user interface. It possess small sized END/CALL buttons, which are little clumsy. The LG GW300 has a good user friendly four-row full QWERTY keyboard with best touch orientation. The background lighting enhances easy typing in the dark. The dedicated shortcut has been provided to the messaging options.

The ports have a plastic covering, which avoid dirt and dust to enter into the port. The phone supports up to hopping 16GB microSD support, which lets you to store thousands of data, music and videos. A camera shutter key has been provided on the right side of the mobile. This may not be needed, as the camera doesn't posses Auto focus, D-pad would be enough.

The microUSB support and a standard 3.5mm audio jack have been provided on the top of the gadget. The microUSB can be used to data transfer and as well as charging the mobile. The Camera and speaker are present at the back of the mobile. Camera has a modest resolution of 2 megapixel resolution and sadly, it doesn't have flash and autofocus feature, you cannot capture picture in the dark.

It supports Bluetooth, GPRS, EDGE and USB. It does not support the 3G, Wi-Fi, WLAN and infrared. Since it has low internal memory of 15MB, the LG GW300 web browser is not so fast and convenient. It has support WAP 2.0/xHTML, HTML to establish connection with World Wide Web. Internet options are bit modest, relatively to good comparing with its cost.
