Lenovo has introduced two new Y-series notebooks with better audio system and multimedia features. These new IdeaPad Y-series notebooks come with JBL Speakers and Dolby headphone technology. New Lenovo Y460 and Y560 notebooks come with stylish chassis and are available across India at price starting at Rs. 46,325.
The new 14-inch Y460 and 15-inch Y560 will feature artistic design bearing outer body. The IdeaPad Y460 comes equipped with HD LED display and runs Intel Core i5-450M microprocessor. Packing an 8GB DDR3 RAM to run pre-installed Windows 7 smoothly, this notebook offers 320GB HDD for storage. Other features include 1.3 megapixel built-in camera, 3 USB 2.0 ports, multi-media card reader, Wi-Fi, LAN port and HDMI port.
The new 15-inch IdeaPad Y560 notebook also comes with HD LED display and runs Intel Core i5-450M processor. Again bringing 8GB DDR3 RAM and massive 750GB HDD for storage, this notebook adds ATI Radeon HD 5730 graphics with 1GB video memory. Lenovo also offers an option of optical Blu-ray drive and HDMI port for connecting HD displays. Other features of this notebook remain the same as the previous one.
Both notebooks carry One Key Theatre feature that turns these notebooks into mini-theatres. Clear and realistic sound is provided by JBL speakers and built-in Dolby headphone technology. For protection of data, Lenovo offers One Key rescue system and Veriface, a face recognition technology. These models are perfect as mid-range gaming and entertainment systems.
