Mumbai : Grand Sarovar Premier Mumbai recently opened its new banquet hall 'Grand Blossom'. Grand Blossom is the annexe building of the hotel, which is located on the opposite side of the property.
The banquet hall, which has been set up with an investment of Rs 3.5 crore, has three levels: at the basement lies the 'Marigold', the ground level has 'Mimosa' and 'Magnolia' is on the first floor. Marigold is spread across 3,500 sq ft, Magnolia is across 2,500 sq ft and Mimosa is across 1,500 sq ft. Grand Sarovar Premier Mumbai already has two banquet halls in the property.
Ajoy Balkrishna, General Manager, Grand Sarovar Premier Mumbai said, "We already have two banquet halls in the hotel and were looking for a bigger hall. The increasing demand for conferences, weddings, social events made us think about the new banquet facility; and, since the owners (the property is managed by Sarovar Hotels and Resorts) already had the land under their disposal, we decided to convert it into a banquet hall. Grand Blossom has facilities to conduct conferences (video conferencing, LCD etc). The banquet hall also has a separate kitchen and huge parking space."
Though the banquet hall could hold social functions, as well as conference, Balkrishna, informed that Grand Blossom is predominantly targeted towards weddings, birthdays and corporate functions. The design and d‚cor of the banquet hall is apt for social functions. Moreover, the banquet hall in the hotel will cater to corporate clienteles also.
