Mumbai : The Oberoi, Mumbai, which re-opened on April 24, 2010, has launched a 24-hour spa centre. Keeping in mind the busy schedules of guests, the hotel chose to offer this 24-hour facility. The spa is one of many 24-hour services offered at the hotel, some of which include 24-hour personal butler service, a 24-hour fitness centre, 24-hour business centre, and 24-hour in-room dining and laundry services.
According to the company release, there are six therapy rooms in the spa, all designed for single occupancy. Separate changing areas and steam and sauna facilities are provided for both men and women. In an effort to further customise the spa experience, guests are given a selection of music to choose from, which they may enjoy during their treatment.
Signature treatments include: The Oberoi Therapy, a holistic massage for releasing muscular knots, increasing circulation and reducing stress; the Hot Lava Shell Therapy, which uses heated lava shells to create a synergy of warmth and deep relaxation; and a range of indigenous spa rituals that incorporate traditional Indian Ayurvedic principles, aromatherapy and western techniques.
