Mumbai : Gurgaon-based Cinnamon Stays, which started its boutique apartment cum Bed and Breakfast services with an inventory of five rooms in November 2009, is looking at increasing its room inventory by adding ten more rooms in the next six months.
The company is also looking at expanding with more room inventory in Delhi after the addition of inventory in Gurgaon. The rooms in Gurgaon are targeted at corporate travellers while the rooms in Delhi will cater to leisure travellers.
Speaking with reporters, Shilpi Singh, The Host, Cinnamon Stays said, "The main purpose of starting this venture was to offer a product which was better than others, as well as a homely atmosphere for corporate travellers. The response we have received is tremendous and we are witnessing occupancy between 70 to 100 per cent and sometimes even more. Our major clientele comprises of corporate companies in Gurgaon, while Delhi rooms will be targeted to the leisure travellers in the future."
Cinnamon Stays has positioned its offerings at a reasonable rate of Rs 3000 for a single occupancy and Rs 3400 for a double occupancy including breakfast. The company promotes its product offerings by adopting non-conventional methods like social networking sites and word of mouth publicity about the product. "Each of our rooms has a unique feel and a story to tell which often attracts a lot of our customers. We will continue this trend when we increase our room inventory in the coming months," stated Singh.
